Thank you, but I'm not trying to get applause for something where I am only involved a bit. "I had it read off" = I made someone else read it off. I asked to look at the left rear fuselage (normal position). I didn't enquire about the unit.

Well Kubinka was mentioned as it's homebase.
226 OSAP is stationed here and operates the An-30.

The 04 bk which visited Volkel a few years ago was also of this unit.
So, I think 226 OSAP / 16 AK is the squadron/wing.

OSAP = Otdelnyy Smeshannyy Aviatsionnaya Polk -> Independent Composite Aviation Regiment
AK = Aviatsionnaya Komendantura -> Aviation Headquarters

Hope this helps a bit....

But it still needs some confirmation.
