C-130(E)H CH-13 handed over to the Belgian Air Component

Yesterday March 17th, 2009, the Lockheed C-130(E)H with serial CH-13 was handed over to the Belgian Air Component

ex-WC-130E USAF Serial 64-0552 (1965-1993); N130EV Evergreen (1999-2007); CH-14 Sabena Technics (2007-2009)
CH-13
c/n 382-4047
delivery date: 17/03/2009
In service with N° 15 Air Transport Wing

De Belgen mogen een dikke lange neus geven aan de Koninlijke Luchtmacht, die al veel eerder twee aftandse Hercen kocht maar ze vooralsnog niet eens heeft zien vliegen. Waar hebben dit Belgen dit exemplaar eigenlijk vandaan gehaald?

note the language used here is english so please translate, thanks.

To answer your question if i remember correctly it was ex evergreen. Rework was done by sabena technics (stimulating your own economy!). Correct me if i am wrong.

In a certain way as Sabena Technics is now a subsidiary of (French) international maintenance group TAT and most of the studies for these repair and modification works were made at Bordeaux...
