- Lynx demo @ EHKD - 25-03-09

Hey guys

I went to a info day about a career as a chopper pilot for the military. I it isn't really my first choice. But, there would be a Lynx demo which got me there . Anyway's the demo was very cool. Max respect to those guys.

First we got a tour around the airport. Starting at the maintenance hangar.



Then we where allowed into the tower!



While waiting for the demo Lynx to depart, this chopper took off to my guess to a offshore plant.



Then another Lynx arrived, which I think the demo Lynx was waiting for.



This is the demo Lynx, it got very close to use. It wiggeld around as kinda of salute.

Then they passed each other.

(Small detail: you created a small blue line below its nose and wheels, maybe you added too much contrast?)

Nice pics although for some I think the shutter speed is too high. It's always nice to see to rotorblades spinning.

Yeah, I forgot I set it on ISO400 because of the indoor shots before. Although there is motion in the last couple of photo's.

btw, I used the Nikon D90 with the Nikkor 18-55 mm and 70-300mm VR AF-S.

Yeah great Pics. Somthing like that wouldn't give it here in germany
But i was last week surprised about two low go from a german p3 but that's a other topic.
I really like the ambiance and other things.

Yep, very good shots and comps, just a lower shutterspeed and they were sublime..

Guess i could also have bought a Nikon..
