Night flying operations early 2009

Post by Stefan »

From a press release:

According to a topic on the SG Volkel forum the flying in week 10 and 11 will be from monday till wednesday instead of monday till thursday. Don't know what's correct but keep it in mind.

An extra week is scheduled:

Stefan

Hi all,

I'm planning to visit Volkel Thursday 2 April. Will there be morning flying, after nightflying on Wednesday? NOTAM says the aerodrome is open from 0930-1200LT. But will there be a morning wave?
Thanks for the answer!

My Guess, same reason as for Wednesday. Traffic to/from Afghanistan. so only 2 jets. no morning wave.
