You're a real daredevil . The first (and last time) I photographed some blackhawks there two scrambled guards were aiming their M16's at us. Fortunately we were faster
Could be because of the weekend. I was there a couple a weeks ago on a saturday and could walk up to the helo's along the fence without any problem. Clearly in view, barely hiding my camera. No problem at all.
Dear Per,
I want to say [offensive part edited out]
If they become to see this photo's probably it's the last time we can see the nice helo's.
I hope there are not more spottter to become on this idea.
There are more spotter on this planet.
Thank you very much.
Dutch spotters from the east.
Although I understand your feelings towards this kind of pics, there are several other sources to get that info from without ever leaving your home. I doubt the US govmt. doesn't know this also.
That's an opinion, that may be valuable. But there are other ways to say this than in your previous post. The offensive lines of that one have been removed.
Very nice pics, I dont have the balls since I got arrested in 86. May-be times have changed.... Lets hope. Hit and run for serials will allways be possible or they must close the road because there are some pics on scramble.nl.....
If you are always approaching the helo-ramp through the forest, you have no problems. But walking across the base-fence/perimeter you are asking for problems. This could happen also at Ramstein or Spang, so no difference there. You have always be aware how to do your ''spotting job''.
Landstuhl is a US military hospital not a top secret location however there are big radar-installations on the site...
That's my opinion.

Hey Maurits,
you know that the hospital and this radar-site are two differrent locations.
This Platform belongs to 1st Satellite Controll Batallion, Landstuhl.
Well, all I wanted to do was show all of you the beautiful Blackhawks. There are many Ramstein pictures lately and since this is close by I wanted to share the pics. Many times there are remarks of people "Please share info or pics so more people can enjoy'. There were many people walking around with dogs, cycling or just walking in the forest around Landstuhl so I don't think it's a forbidden area. And most important: I don't photograph specific 'infrastructure' and put that on the internet. Anyway I removed the pics.
