World War II Spitfire for sale

A completely rebuilt World War II Spitfire, one of only six two-seater versions of the plane in the world, is up for auction.
It was found as a wreck in South Africa, but after five years of restoration work it is airworthy again - and expected to fetch £1.5m or more.

Yeah it is, but i don't think they are going to do that.. Funding is a big issue for this bird (ensurrance, maintenance, etc.) they have a Constellation that requires alot of attention and money. The DC-8 that they want to bring here is also a big moneypit.
