Hi,

Just to let you know that the E-4 left at 14.55 local. Also 6 A-10s went on deployment to Italy. And F-16s were flying CAP missions (6 hours!) overhead Estonia.

Full log will follow later,

Any proof for a Spang A-10 deployment to Italy, Oscar?

Thank for the report Oscar01, interesting the use of "Venom", a 510th c/s.

BTW, F-16 90-0831 is on loan to the 555th FS here in Aviano, any idea of when it arrived at LIPA?

Hi Maurizio,

Venom is used for some time as well in Spang. Sorry, don't know about the 831.

Oscar

Thanks a lot for confirmation and first-hand verification of all six A-10s, Oscar! Also thanks to Banter for confirming their destination! I already made a first post on my blog: http://warthognews.blogspot.com/2009/04 ... nt-on.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Oscar! Would you submit your related A-10 shots to Warthog News? That would be great.

By the way: For Spang F-16C flights on April 7th, please check "Spangdahlem, Mildenhall train to ensure Baltic air sovereignty": http://www.spangdahlem.af.mil/news/stor ... =123143646" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Kind Regards

Have got information that no A-10's were at Amendola in the last few days, maybe they just fuel-stopped there?
