Just back from a week of spotting/holiday from the beautiful island of Madeira.
The weather was between good and bad. We had only 2 days of clear weather.
Our hotel was very good only 5 min. by car to the airport and it was just under the finals of RWY. 05 ( Good that the airports is closed from 23.00 until 06.00 )

This was the log from a week of spotting in FNC
Tip to go spotting in FNC: Monday and Thursday are the best from traffic
On saturday you have the A310 of SATA and on sunday you have the A330 of TAP who is flying Lisboa-Funchal-Caracas ( Venezuela ) I just missed the A330
A and the RWY. on 09/04 changed a lot because there was a thunderstorm coming. But i talked to a Portuguese spotter and he sad that's normal sometimes they change it 4 times a day
