My name is Judith Vogt and i am working for the chinese artist Xue Mu. Xue Mu was invited by the initiators of the dutch art project 'I AM A1' (http://www.iama1.nl" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
Therefor she is organizing an aircraft art performance in the end of may called 'A Floating Highway' along the dutch highway A1, which involves 4 to 5 Piaggio Focke Wulf 149 D.
The aircrafts will start as a formation of five and split up to one. While flying above the A1 they will produce a cloud, which will mirror the A1 upside down.
We are a small team of seven people, who are working on this project right now. Accordingly - and cos of the reason that it is such a big traject (the whole A1) - we are right now looking for enthusiastic experts, who are interested in helping us. Helping us to documentate this happening. So in the end we would have -ideally- material from hundreds of people, from different spots all along the A1, documenting the happening! We will of course quote all the makers of submitted material in the documentary.
You could help us by spotting the planes by filming or photographing along the A1!
Right now we are in working progress to all technical questions regarding the planes. Due to the circumstances (e.g. weather conditions) we unfortunately won't be able to announce the exact dates and times before mid of may.
