It is possible I guess for Retro14 (PolAF F-16 #4040) to land at Lajes on her way to USA. Could you pay a little attention to her?

Any serials or at least tailcodes? So I think, other 'Hogs' will replace the remaining Moody A-10Cs at Bagram AB, Afghanistan, as part of USAF's upcoming AEF 9/10 (Cycle 7) rotation (May - August 2009). After their extended deployment, the 75th EFS was already replaced by the 74th EFS, but only by personnel.

Good afternoon,

Four Prowlers returned to Andrews NAS from Lajes yesterday as Trend 21-24.
Supporting KC-10 Blue 71 (87-0122) arrived at McGuire AFB.

Another F-16 delivery flight has been scheduled from Fort Worth to Lajes tomorrow, May 20th.

Hope this helps,

Mazda81 - 86 were probably 81-0964, 78-0598, 78-0600, 82-0664, 78-0596 and 81-0979.

Confirmation welcome!

Regards

Mark

Thanks a lot for your serial numbers info, Mark! If the 23rd Fighter Group, 23rd Wing, Moody AFB, Georgia, really deployed six "fresh" A-10Cs to Bagram AB, Afghanistan, then the 74th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron will stay for USAF's entire AEF 9/10 (Cycle 7) rotation (May - August 2009). But in this case, Dutchmil must be wrong with his 74th EFS redeployment info:

According to a Stars and Stripes news article, elements from the 81st Fighter Squadron, 52nd Fighter Wing, Spangdahlem AB, Germany, will deploy to Afghanistan in September - that would be part of USAF's upcoming AEF 1/2 (Cycle eight) rotation (September - December 2009).
