Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Normally I rather fly General Aviation than taking photographs of them, but I was quite surprised that, almost in my own backyard, a temporary airfield was created. For a special occasion some meadows were stitched together to become an airstrip for a few days and housing 10+ aircraft (Mostly Piper Cubs).

On the second day I was invited by the owner to join her when ferry the "R-170" to EHGR. On the way back we were intercepted by a 2ship of Harvards which gave me the opportunity to shot some air-to-air. Unfortunately with the wrong camera settings, with almost "frozen" props as a result :cry:

Yup, still hear some activity from time to time. But a few visitors already left. If you want to visit Oosterhout Airport, drive to the "Houtse Steeg" road, between Oosterhout and Den Hout.

:cry: :cry: Why didn't I knew about it. Saw a lot of flying activity yesterday, didn't know about the airfield. So there are still some a/c's there?

Just one question: where you flying too in the piper cub yesterday ave, circling around an hot air balloon?

Nope, around 1600hrs LT I made a few 360's North of Oosterhout, then headed to EHGR. Intercepted by the 2 Harvards above Dongen.

Just read this article about the temporary airport: http://www.bndestem.nl/regio/oosterhout ... oestel.ece
It was published at saturdaymorning and it said that the planes will leave the airport the nex day..which means sunday. So all plane should have been left now.
