SU-27s in the USA!!!

when i read this story, was pinching myself to check if i wasn't dreaming

according to these to sources Warbird Exchange and Pride Aircraft There are now 2 SU-27s in the USA, PRIVATELY OWNED!!!!

Best guess would be they are ex-Ukranian air force Su-27's (colour scheme, pilots trained in Ukraine and delivered in an Ukranian An-124).

But they have (not) been registered in the FAA database (although an entry for the Su-27P (??) has been created), so probably will take some time before they will fly again.

Ukrain they are, but the cockpits are being upgraded with US equipment instead of Russian so that might take some time..
