Eind SEP09 is wanneer BA Cityflyer hun nieuwe Embraer 170's zal gaan inzetten op de route naar London City ter vervanging van de huidige AVRO RJ's. Eerste trainings routes zijn AMS en EDI. Exacte datum in nog onbekend.
Romanian flag-carrier Tarom is integrating itself more closely with the SkyTeam alliance through a codeshare with KLM.
The agreement, says KLM, will come into effect from 1 June.
Tarom will begin a daily Bucharest-Amsterdam service on 6 June and the codeshare will apply to flights between the two cities. KLM already operates the route three times per day. The codeshare will allow KLM to place its code on Tarom domestic services to Iasi, Timisoara, Cluj and Sibiu.
Tarom is to join SkyTeam as an associate carrier from early 2010.
China Airlines reduces TPE - Amsterdam - TPE flights in June 2009:
China Airlines is reducing Taipei - Bangkok - Amsterdam service with B744 from Daily to 4 weekly (Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun departure from AMS) from 07JUN09 to 07JUL09.
EVA Air is also reducing frequency by not operating TPE-AMS-TPE on 9/10 June 2009.
DELTA Airlines has announced suspension of the summer only service from Cincinnatti to AMS with B757, seasonal service ex CVG ends August 15, last departure ex. AMS August 16.
From June 26th till September 1st Kenya Airways will lease a KLM MD-11 (including cockpitcrew) to operate flights between Amsterdam and Nairobi, due to the late delivery of ordered aircraft.
I guess this means we won't be seeing KQ 767's/777's at AMS for a while?

Correct. As far as i know MD-11 flights will start as of June 29th. It will be adjusted in the reservations.
