REQ: HMX-1 VH-60 codes

Does anyone know if the VH-60N of US Marine Corps HMX-1 carry codes in addition to their serials?

I took the following photo while on a trip to Washington DC last year and what looks like the number 7 is just behind & below the cockpit door.

That's indeed a "7", just like on this picture on the web:

Don't know of your VH-60 was also 161260

These "numbers" are not on the left side, as i shot 2 VH-60's at Long Beach in March'09.

Did you log the serials of the two H-60s at Long Beach please?

Yes Mark ofcourse..

163260 and 163264.

There were also 3 HMX-1 CH-53's, 165251, 165253, 165254.
