Linton-on-Ouse (EGXU) - 2009 MIL

With all talks about a replacement for the Tucano, it was time to take a look at Linton-on-Ouse to see many of them.
Indeed, the line was full with Tucano's except there were no pilots walking around untill 1300LT.
Apparantly, with the previous day being a bank holiday, nobody was in a real hurry.
I had parked at the usual spotting spot nr 3 to take a proper look at the Tucano's and their individual markings.
The weather was forecasted to be cloudy and rainy, but in the end no rain was felt, so that was a bonus.

As nothing happened, I drove on to Dishfort ( couple of lynxes outside but no possibility to read them ) and Leeming ( some Hawks landed ).

In the mean time, I picked up some radio chatter from Linton-on-Ouse so I drove back.
Indeed operations were in full swing and many flying Tucano's were seen.
A big bonus was the precautionary landing of Tucano ZF205/205 which blocked one of the taxiways.
All Tucano's had to pass close to the gate to taxi back to their stand.
