Kaposujlak (Kaposvar) (LHKV) - 2009 CIV

Post by Nlspot2003 »

Kaposujlak Hungary 4-5-2009

(is in dutch can anyone translate this in english my english is not so good.)

OM-PGA Let 410 Skydive For Fun
EC-BOF Piper 28
HA-LDB Let 200 Malev
HA-MEO An2 Air Walser (compleet)
HA-MEI An2 N/t (mist motor)
HA-ABA An2 N/t (compleet)

Nog wat helipcopters.

HA-LFU Bell 206
HA-MIS UH-12
HA-MRZ Ka 26
HA-MMS Ka 26
HA-MMY Ka 26

van de rest weet ik alleen dat de meeste niet meer dan alleen de romp is. Heb niet opgeschreven hoe ze er bijstaan.

Antonov 2: HA-YHE, CCCP-56391, HA-ANX, HA-MBC, HA-MBN, YR-PBN, YR-PAV, HA-MBV, HA-MHK, YR-PVK, HA-ABS

But off course we can translate.

This is a small airfield around 50 km south of the Balatonlake in Hungaria.
Here they repair AN2 aircraft and make them flyable again.
Also some AN2 are rebuild to Crop Duster.

Lots of remains are only parts of the cabin, but didn't wright them down.

It's possible to walk around on the field, taking some pictures and nobody asks something.
Only near the runway a sign with no access.
Nice airfield, good for photography, absolutely worth a visit when your around.

I know that most of the rest is only fuselage.
Didn't write down what state they're in.

I visited this airfield in July. Took a bit of effort finding it but it was worth it.
It is indeed truly amazing, I asked to look round and photograph and permission was given.
Apart from many russian types various light aircraft are available. A full log can be issued on request including photographs.
Questions.
There is one seemingly unmarked AN.2 on the field in pretty awful condition. Any id??
One of the small hangars is full (really full) with old cessna's stacked next to each other, I reckon at least 8-12 machines but I couldn't read them off. Any info on these would be appreciated.

One extra point. If you are in the area of Siofok on the east side of the Balaton Lake, take into account there are two airfields, not one. The one which is very difficult to find has pawnee's (unusual nowadays) and one of the original Aztec's (cn in the 120's) in good condition. Also worth finding if you collect light.

Szia everybody,
I visit Kaposújlak on a yearly base since 2000. And I'm missing some Sk.61's (former SwedishAF Bulldogs).
Seen on 25th of July 2009:
Sk61D HA-TUV c/n 190 (ex 61072/72) in original camo
Sk.61D HA-TVA c/n 134 (ex 61028/28) in desert colors.
Let-410UVP OM-PGA (82-0929) ex Czech AF. The owner of this L-410 also has OM-PGB (81-0712) also former CzechAF(seen in July 2008).
Some Antonovs wich were mentioned in the first mail were no longer present.
Cheers,
Bart
