I understand what you would like to say with this, but the dutch government gave 3 million euro (!!!) for this event.
I don't think that it costs 3 million euro's to get Cor Bakker on the stage! So what did they do with all this money?
I think we will never see it back.

And I agree with you, there are always people who have comments on everything But after an event like saturday
I think it's validly. And I'm very sorry to say this, because I know there are people of the organisation who wants to make it a
good day for all.

Edit: And I also agree with you, please people, be happy with everything you "get" from our Airforce. It's not their task to entertain
you with nice movements of airplanes. So if the airforce give you the change to make pictures or bring a visit to a airfield, be happy!

ah well this friday i`m leaving extra early for Volkel to beat the Dagjes mensen terror
 Unbelievable. This is exactly the behaviour I mean. Sad.....

Wake up man, for the KLu you are just as "Dagjesmens" as all the rest. The fact that you carry a big camera does not make you more special then a father and mother with 2 children.

Stop putting yourself over other people because you carry more mm's then they do. You are just as unsignificant as the rest of the 249.999 people there.

@ Ricardo:

I was there too. Not really for the so-called party, but just to walk around and see some interesting buildings. However, everything around a part of the runway (up to the old 13-31 runway) was fenced. O well, I stayed just a little longer to see Ellen ten Damme, who was probably the highlight of the day...

That's it for now, quality ain't superb. Just bought myself a new lens and it takes quite a bit trial and error to handle it, I found. I hope you enjoy anyway!

Niek

Edit: Photobucket didn't like one picture of Ellen...

Please remember that KLU events are not made for photographers/spotters in specific.

I think its a challenge for them to get some good material from a (for them bad) event. Good photographers will look for more than aircraft 50mm side shots only.

It separates the boys from men?
