St. Dizier 15 June 2009

Post by Arnold ten Pas »

Hi,

Monday we had a base visit, with credits to GRAS, at St. Dizier. Unfortunately, the weather did not play a long, so photo possibilities were limited. We tried anyway..:

In the early afternoon, just a bit of sun was visible:

But this was soon over. Then off to the hangar:

Late afternoon take-offs, in the rain:

From what Arnold showed, it made me think that isn´t so bad....
.... Stafhunter made it a little more clear :mercy:

That is a pity, having a day on base with those planes and that weather.

Nice shots Arnold and Alex! Sharp and balanced!! :o
@eric and staffie: ur shots are not best quality but I like the atmosphere in them: great to see those soaked Rafales!
In fact: :day:
http://WWW.FVPHOTO.NL/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; --- Check out my photos of this spotting season on my website!

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

Great shots guys, despite the weather...

Arnold, very nice sun shots, as good as it gets.. ! Klasse.

Alex, you have nicely lighted pics, love the head-on shot! One rain shot i didn't like, but it gives a nice impression!

Shibumi, sharp and with an interresting background, maybe a tad too much green? Great colors still...!
Groet,
