Stand on it a lot, I would say. 8)
BTW, this topic was never intended as a collective space for photos taken from gardens and the likes. I just thought of a title that would describe what I was posting. Funny to see how things take their own course...

Some pics of today from my side. I think I like my 100-400 :D

1. Made a lot of T&G's @ today EHGR, seen here during one of her go-arounds.

2. Low and slow, that's how I like this bird!

Luckily it’s sometimes for the better. When is you second lot coming btw. :D

One from today (guest room window), not the best quality I know, but to my knowledge it’s the first photo of this machine with Aerosur titles out there.

And just for the fun of it, an other 727 coming straight over. This time CP-2447 Boeing 727-264/Avd Aerosur (this time actually from the garden  )

All the best, Michael

During the next two weeks my garden/balcony happends to overview the approach of the 'mountian' airfield of St Tropez / La Mole. The last days the wind was in my favor: Only disadvantage is that I am facing the sun while enjoying a good glass and a nice view

1st shot: 600mm, 1/350s, f/10 and a steady hand but troubled by heat haze?
3rd shot 420mm, 1/250s, f/8 and already enjoyed a good local bottle? ;-)

Flyboy, I don't really see the point in posting a backlit unsharp Cherokee...
Michel, I think it would be better if you cropped those a little.

You're right and I removed it. It does give an impression though of the local circumstances.

Makes me wonder which part your critism was about though: the backlight, the unsharpness or the Cherokee itself?? :P

Great sport, Marc! It was the sum of the total, but mostly the lack of sharpness (like Rogier said, probably heat haze). The Piaggio seems to show the same setting, just more exciting and in better quality. 8)
