Post by Bits-and-Pieces »

Hello

Yesterday (23-06-2009) at 14.00hr a RNLAF Cougar landed at Lunnetenkazerne in Vught (NB).
It was a camouflaged one. I don't know the reason or occasion?

Hello Peter,

Is the Lunnetenkazerne still in use, or is this the old "kazerne" which you see from the train ?

From what I can remember you can't see the Lunettekazerne from the train. You have to drive a dead end road for acces. I believe the old Isabellakazerne was visible out the train. When I was stationed there I never see a helicopter use the Lunettekazerne as an landingsite. But they used the kazerne at the opposite side, the van Brederodekazerne.
