NATO 17

Post by Henk Voortwijs »

Working on 297.7500 MHz (NATO AAR control). This bird is a E-3A AWACS from Geilenkirchen, Germany (ETNG). Could not understand the callsign of the tanker, since reception of that aircraft is very weak over here.

Tanker callsign is ESSO 76. A KC-135 from Geilenkirchen, Germany. Thanks to Joost de Raaf for the tanker callsign.

Also comms on 371.5000 MHz (Lippe UACC AAR Control). Most likely ESSO76, but I'm not 100% sure.
