Hi all,

Quick stop today on this so many times forgotten, but very nice airfield:
AS-555 ..../BSB of the GAM-STAT plus some Gazelle's and Puma's. Have to check the pics for that but am not yet able to. Sorry for that.

Also on this field a very nice visitor in the shape of a Belgian Luchtcomponent Alouette II, the A-64. She was not parked on the mil ramp but in front of the very, very empty terminal.

During a recent spotterstrip, I visited Valence. After the set back at Orange I decided to get myself some nice shots of some army helo's. Nothing special though, but in the afternoon one can enjoy the great back drops Valence has to offer. I was quite surprised to get access to the control tower which enabled me to even get some nicer shots of the few helo's that flew and practiced their auto-rotation skills. Another nice treat was the Istres Mirage performing a high speed (600 km/h) low level (300ft) pass over the runway, before disappearing at the same height over a small village towards the foot of the mountain....wow!!
