In the air this afternoon. So far comms with Limelight (CAOC2 Kalkar, Germany) on 261.0000 MHz (Air Manager) & 281.0750 MHz (Tactical Co-ordination).

"Loneship wil not be available this afternoon". (Loneship is CRC Erndteburck, Germany).
"We will be in the Belgium airspace as well".

Does anybody know who or what "Skynet" is? The AWACS is calling them from time to time, but I can't find them in any of my callsignlists.

did some searching, found some criss cross reports from round the globe of stations calling sky net on several occasians, and something about a UK military communications system.

..but nothing really explaining what it is, so like you I am also interested
