First RAF Shadow R.1 deployed to theatre

RAF,5 Squadron Shadow R.1 ZZ416 departed Cranwell to Sigonella on Monday 06 July en-route 'south and east' to sandy areas.

The second example,ZZ417,is also expected to follow it in a short space of time.

The second Shadow R.1,ZZ417 departed the UK on 17 July to Sigonella and further south and east.
