Today standing at the inside from the Polderbaan
not the "spottersplaats" and the police came a couple of times (only saw the same 2 all day)to check if the crashgate was free of entrance.(the place marked with the big square and crosses on the road with the no parking signs next to it)
well the first 3 (!) times there were cars blocking the gates and the polite asked them to remove there car and park it somewhere else.they all did.
the last time it was real bizzy at the location and after they left it took 3 minutes that another car allready parked his car over there
then we saw the Police at the other side(the "spottersplaats") and saw them remove cars as wel.
5 minutes later the police came back and parked there car in front of the meanwhile 2 cars so they couldn't pass(as they both tried) the cops got out walked to them and gave them a fine of 60 euro's.
After that I walked to them and asked how much the fine was(as mentioned 60 eu's)
and how there policy is.
the answer was: we warned people enough the last 2 years so now on we warn
OR not and fine directly, the signs are clear enough.
OR worn once or twice, come back in 20 minutes and if there parked again also fine.
Also they mention that the people parking on the wrong places are not the people they see most of the times around SPL
had a nice conversation about the (can I say it?) real people around SPL that are getting invented to look for the better places to spot without disterbing(?) the rules from SPL and the Dutch law.they thought it was funny to see for them how we do it nowadays.
(hiding in bushes at some places and walking for 30 minutes to good places)
they also mentioned clearly: it are not the spotters who are making the problems nowadays
well sounds ok to me but we are the onces that got to do with it.
Good work today to the Police,as they kept there patience.
Greetings Ton
