Hi,

Got an interesting message today, that 6 F-16s are due from US tomorrow to Poznan. This will be the only US coronet tomorrow into Europe......

Note that 6 TX F-16s were expected at Caslav.......

Do your own match, but don't blame me

Oz

Ps: Accompanying KC-10 is going into EGUN...

Trend71 flight of 8 cancelled, because tanker (cacti21) went tech when airborn.

Might give it another try tomorrow, but then Poznan is closed..... so where are they heading to?

They were airborne this morning, but when their tanker broke down, TREND 71-78 returned to Andrews AFB.

Hope this helps,

René.

Hi Rene,

Indeed, though the tanker was airborn already. Cacti21 was 50027 and supposed to go to EGUN.

Yes, thanks Oscar. Just reviewed my audio tape from this morning, and both CACTI 21 and
CACTI 22 were airborne. CACTI 21 returned to McGuire AFB, and CACTI 22 to Pease ANGB.
The F-16s were already enroute to Nantucket and returned to Andrews around 0900z.

CACTI 21 had a warning light on the number three engine, and had to abort the mission.

Hope this helps,

René.

Final destination is Caslav indeed, but these guys trained the Polish AF viper pilots, so I think they want to make a short visit......

But that's just my gues.

They are now overhead, got weather for both Poznan and Caslav  Live report from Poznan informs that Tower is active, but no activity at the moment.
