I can confirm FB09 was also inside at 16/09/09!!! Was for 30 minutes outside in the morning, afterwards pushed into.frank kramer wrote:Don't know about the other regs, but I read FB-09 myself. That one definitely WAS inside around 0845 lt.

Noted in front of FB-20 was JY-RFC, so still two to gomarcel32us wrote:We saw 4 of them, one noted as JY-RFB, the rest still unknown.Piet Luijken wrote:Indeed there were some Extras of the RJF inside, I saw three of them.
At 1715lt, the hangar door was partly open and it was really easy from the fenceline to read four of the F-16s inside.Sleegertje wrote:Have you've been in the hangar or not?Piet Luijken wrote:In hangar near Red Bull acft at 1715:

Indeed there were some Extras of the RJF inside, I saw three of them.
We got the following serials from a Belgium Pilot:
FA81, FA82, FA136, FB20
Which are correct?

yes, it absolutely is F-16A FA-16. I had the privilege to work on the new Flash book "Belgian Special Colours" and the information we received from the guys who painted it (Johan Wolfs and Peter Verheyen) is that the aircraft was taken out of storage, emptied out completely to save weight and was then "made up" to look like an -AM by adding fake aerials to the nose. The cockpit is -or was- strictly F-16A, too. Also, there is no engine installed, only the nozzle. Hope this settles this question.De Verrekieker wrote:I have a question about the special painted F-16 (FA-16) Is it realy the FA-16 because it had the 4 extra antena's in front of the cockpit which all MLU updated F-16's have? Anyone more info on this F-16?
Greetz Elvin Cornelissen.
The FA-16 was already in the workshop over a year ago, we saw it there during a basevisit when they took all unneccesary parts off of her and she did not have th eaerials at that time. The aerials did look fake last friday as they did not have the perfect fit as the real ones have, but it's a nice mock-up.frank kramer wrote:yes, it absolutely is F-16A FA-16. To me it appeared to be a cardboard mock-up of a viper in old tiger livery........, don't have a picture though as I wasn't allowed to take one or to get inside the fenceThe DJ wrote:Does anyone have a photo of FA-16, as i've seen a "mock-up" F-16 near the temporary NTM Gate at the North-side of the base. Not sure it actually was a "real" F-16, was driving to fast..... but could be the same.

These 4 did fly towards the sanicole airshow (20/09/09), and landed back at EBBL.Belgianboy wrote:Royal Jordan Extras still unknown?
