ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Because there are no IATA codes for smaller airports and non-civil airports. Besides, I think some IATA codes are even less obvious than the ICAO codes. Please just stick to the full names, as these are always clear . . .
Enjoy!

Hahahaha..

"Aviationlingo"!!! I love it!! :P :P

Nice to read that there are a lot of people who do agree with me!

I think when people use the airfield name instead of ICAO, the stockprices of google inc. will go rapidly down!

Make this topic sticky, so everyone can read it, should i say!!

Thanx!

200% agree with that.
Especially at EHAM, oh.......Schiphol I mean, are a lot of "spotters" from age 21 or less, who have 25 years of experience  in aviation.

No please, keep both feet on the ground and use full names instead of ICAO codes.
Thank you

from age 21 or less,
In my experience it's the older ones.

Usually they are a bit bold, slightly to much overweight. They dress so you can see they have never had a girlfriend en and still live with their mom. And usually carry a camera with (atleast) a 500mm lens and a scanner which is so powerfull it can pick up the air traffic at Kandahar Airport even when you are standing at Schiphol.

Seen them around lately?

Now back to topic.
