Hi all,
After spending our night in the car we woke up at a grey Komaki. Obviously we started the day with reading off the stuff on the platforms.

Plus two more UH-60's (a blue one and a white one) and another U-125. All three KC-767's were seen, and two of them could even be photographed reasonably. We also had a few new Hercs compared with last week, plus more choppers, so it was a good start of the day. Next was, of course, Gifu again.

We also saw another OH-6, but can't read the serial on the picture, an OH-1 and another F-4 of the test unit. When we arrived we first went to the spot in the landing, to see what was happening. We had a nice chat with a local guy, who told us what was flying. Since this didn't sound too interesting (only a few based Phantoms and Eagles) we decided to go up the hill first, but just as we were driving away the YS-11 arrived. Lucky for us it made a go-around, so a quick crash-move with our car made sure we could photograph it. We asked again if nothing else interesting was flying, and again the answer was no. So we left for the hill, but when we arrived at the fence there the BK.117 came back from a flight. It did a few circuits and then landed, before we were able to get back to the photo spot. The local spotter, who was apparently only interested in jets, was already gone. And that was good since I probably would have strangled him otherwise! Well, at least we have seen this rare bird..... There were also a few changes with Mitsubishi compared with last week, including a C-1 that we still saw at Miho yesterday.
And that's another day gone, with only one more operational day left!
As always comments, additions or corrections are very welcome.
That's all folks!
