Wow Nusty what a great picture. Nice composition.
I always say a boy can learn more at an airport than at any school.

How do you mean luck? I think some planning went into this!

Where is it from, the euromast?

Always interesting to see the optical compression of a telelens, you would think there is a whole forest between Rotterdam and Delft.

No, I just went to the Euromast with my girlfriend and after half an hour I saw this white bus coming in.
At that moment I remembered the EHRD topic from the first. :mrgreen:

In the backgound; 'Delftse woud' and Delft :mrgreen:

Cool shot! I can see the building I used to live in as a student (the not-so-pretty highrise near Papswoudselaan). :mrgreen:

Nusty, do you really drag all your camera kit with you everywhere you go (i.s.o. just a little point 'n shoot)? What does your girlfriend say? :wink:

My dear Watson: the question is "how does this fellow produce 2 shot with a verry different angle on the highway (A13) from a single point"?

I didnot know the euromast could sway this much.

The A13 does make a curve to the right after exit Rotterdam Airport. You can follow the highway lights of the first picture. And the second pictur is made just to the right of the first frame.

One shot makes everything clear :idea: But what were you thinking; photo shop or air to air ( just curious ) :?: Next time with clear sky I 'll go up again ( there was a lot of haze ).

Some other ( non aviation ) shots I made yesterday from the Euromast;

That picture explains it all indeed my dear Watson.

I was starting to think air to air but apart from the expense involved it would have required a very steady hand under those late afternoon (early evening) light conditions.

The bent in the A13 is stronger than I have in my mind from driving it. Also I would have thought that further to the right the aircraft would have been more from behind which is not really the case in the photo, that is why I was thinking you may have been moving along.

Still a very great shot. I also like the view of the refinery at Pernis, I think the haze was to your advantage in that shot.

I use the ThinkTank Airport Security http://www.thinktankphoto.com/products/ ... a-bag.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for dragging / rolling all my stuff. My girlfriend doesn't mind as long as she can borrow a lens :wink:
