Wow guys, incredible shots. Especially striking the ones from Jeroen and Vinflyer. Jeroen, these 'wings on fire' are truly something special....And I really like the 'sci-fi-movie special fx' surrounding the Hornet that nearly breaks the soundbarrier.

Thank you... I think I have been lucky being there at the right time at the right place :-) Until 10.30AM I was standing in front of the control tower and in the early morning training sessions this was the place where it - at least for me - really happened. After 10.30AM the area became VIP-/journalist-only so I had to leave...

Really a great amount of stunning pictures here. I specially like the Super Puma flares pictures, looks different from the ones I took. Where these photos taken from Tschingel? I was standing on Ebenfluh. Or did the Puma fly a different show on Wednesday?

Excellent photos....and the weather we were hoping for whilst walking up Axalp on the Thursday......however the weather had other ideas!!

Did anyone manage to identify any of the F.5's or F.18's that took part in the rehearsal?

Kind regards

Question... is there anybody out there who succeeded in getting the following - unfortunately unsharp :-( - picture 100% sharp?

Wow Jeroen, that's a great shot, sharp enough for me! And again there's this sci-fi-movie-style special effect around the plane.

Question (sorry for slightly off-topic): you often see Hornets performing a high-speed pass creating a cone-shaped cloud around them. In the picture above, there is no such cloud but is the strange effect in the air around the plane similar to that cloud? And is the absence of that cloud here due to lower humidity maybe?
