KA-1 012 was towed between the shelters just after the 8 others had departed and we read 922 (presumably 822) for the Korean H-60 on the platform on the other side.

On the 24th I counted at least 12 USArmy Blackhawks on the platform and in total I counted 27 Blackhawks.
Three of the USArmy Blackhawks had yellow stripping on the fuselage and are used for flying in the DMZ zone.
After the 8 KA-1 returned a USArmy C-12 came in from the otherside (serial .
Also one of the S-92 came out of the hangar, was started up and after a few minutes the heli was pussed back in the hangar. In the hangar was also a second one visible. Anyone about the id's.
Also 4 RC-800's were seen. I can remeber one of the serials, 343. The otherone, which took off, I have to look up.
In one of the hangars also a Andover was visible.

C12F 40155 landed at 15:40 on the Saturday, but I don't remember 8 KA1s flying (do you mean the T50s?). Also C17A 99-0167 AK wt landed an hour later.
There were three S92s noted during the week, 05035, 05050 and 05055, all in and out of that hangar.
What time did the RC800s fly on the Saturday? I didn't see any sign of them all day
Thanks

on at least 1 day 8 KA-1's did fly. On the opening day (when we just arrived from down south some came in) and the day with the flypast 8 left around 09:30hrs and came back later in the afternoon.

Colin,

Sorry I mean fryday instead of Saturday.
The C-12 was the 60082.
The KA-1 were the 002, 005, 008, 013, 014, 015, 017 and 018
The RC-800's were 343 and 346 (this one took-off) plus 2 others .

From outside I also saw a 3rd DC-6 (camo) on the field (around the corner behind the DC-6 that was preserved left of the G550). Anyone about the id?

The ROKAF blackhawk on the platform I read as 822 instead of 922.

Dino,

What is 100% sure. On friday from outside I also thoughed it was 922, but the angel for reading was very difficult. During the show I checked the Blackhawk twice and I read 822, but the angel was still not perfect.
If I am right this one plus another one flew on friday so maybe somebody has a picture of the blackhawks.

Michiel

OK Thanks, Friday does make more sense than Saturday.
Your other camo DC-6 is 49-047, also parked round there were
UH1 38614/D-9
F86 917 (camo)
F5A 69-131
The UH60P was 100% 01-822 on Sunday morning I have a clear photo of it if anyone wants to see it. It was parked out on the main ramp at 10am.
Did anyone get the F15Ks in the flypast on Thursday 22nd?
Thanks

Just to clarify. There were no DC-6 or Andover's at Seongnam. The presidential flight preserved aircraft is a VC-118. The other 2 are C-54 Skymaster's (like a DC-4). The one to the left of the G550 is not preserved, it's an airfield decoy.

We were just lucky that it had been moved from its long term parking spot next to 49-047 and made for a nice photo. The Andover you saw was one of 2 VIP flight HS.748's.

Of note, the F-5A 69-131 was previously on a pole at the main gate and was taken down as part of the gates reconstruction.

sorry, but I have to correct you. Both Andovers were on the field. They were parked inside a hangar. You could see them both when standing in the USAF part of the show.

No, Trent is correct (Trent, is that you MF?).

The ROKAF VIP types that you are talking about are not Andovers. They are HS-748s.

Cheers,
Motty.
