Typing a longer message

When I am typing a longer message in the message window,
at a certain point the cursor keeps going to points higher up in the message.
In effect the lines I am typing are not visible on the screen any more but you have to scroll down to see them.

Is this just me or a wrong setting?

Please let me know if I need to elaborate.

I know what you mean, had it a few times before.
I couldn't see what I typed. But after the posting, the message was what I typed.
Now it's normal, but don't know how it went normal again.
Computer restart?

The problem is a compatitliby issue in IE8 and the MB. I resolved it by adjusting the "Compatibility View".

You could also try typing your message in Word, and then paste in into the message box. Not the best option probably, but still an option

I encountered the same problem on a number of fora. Where exactly can you adjust 'compatibility view'?

Can not try it myself (no IE8 installed), but I think with last nights upgrade this should be resolved. Anybody care to check?

Testing here with unadjusted IE8 (8.0.6001.18702) shows nothing unusual.
