Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Nice shots!!!

But, this wasn't Sheiks last demo flight.
On November 27th, he will fly its last demo flight for the RNLAF F16 Demo Team at Volkel AB.

Best regards, Rob

Thanks Bassa and JB5,

Now I have something more to chase when I get back to the States. During the past seven visits to the USA I have developed a lust for airtankers and other fire related aircraft which turned out to be almost bigger than regular military aircraft. P-2 Neptunes, S-2 Trackers and P-3 Orions just excite me more than F-16's shot during landing. The same goes for the choppers like the old S-54 Skycranes or the AH-1 Cobra. And now this Basler-bird..... :-)

Thanks again for sharing the photos.

Cheers,
Iwan

Acccording to http://www.luchtvaartnieuws.nl/news/?id=32818" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; this was not Sheik's last demonstration flight (yet), this will be on Friday the 27th of November.

Ok, good to know, he probably meant last demo flight @ any place but Volkel ;-).. Greetings, and very nice to see some Fire Cobra's!..
Groet,

Andras Brandligt
