Hi,
While spotting at Le Bourget on 5 July 2009 I noticed a CRJ/Challenger 850 and could only read part of reg: UP-C850. However there has to be a 1 or 2 at the end! Hope somebody else was present to provide full reg!
I also need confirmation of 2 Falcon 900s in the Dassault Falcon Service hangar: One with what looked like ST- reg and an Arab flag on tail and I read another Falcon 900 as F-GXDZ but that does not seem to exist. Correction or confirmation welcome!
Thanks for your help!
Below is log of 4 & 5 July, what a great place!
cheers
Anton
Are you sure the ST-registered Falcon was a 900 and not a 50? ST-PSR is the Sudanese gvmt bird and might be the one you saw. You can find pictures of it on sites like airliners.net etc., maybe you can check if it fits the one you saw.
what a great place!
It sure is! First visited LBG during a school trip in what must have been 87 or 88 and got treated with an Egyptian Herc. Later on I spent half a year in France for my study and every once in a while I hitchhiked to LBG....There are not many places in Europe where you can get that many exotics per visit. It always has remained one of my favourites and ideally suited for spotters like me who dig both civ and mil stuff.
During a recent visit at Le Bourget (11-11-2009) we noted a Saudia Da900 inside the Dassault facilities. Due to removed engine cowlings we were not able to read it. With some time left I'm now trying to find out it's identity. It seems Saudia has/did have 2 Da900s. Found some photo's on the known sites, showing one (HZ-AFZ) in the Saudia c/s and the other one (HZ-AFT) in a more bizzjet ish c/s. However all photo's found are quite outdated.
Is there some who can confirm both planes stille operate for Saudia, these are still the only two operating for Saudia and there current c/s is still as it was shown on the slightly outdated photo's. In other words, did we see the HZ-AFZ or are there other possibilities based on the Saudia c/s.
Hello, i'm going to paris in a couple of weeks and treating my fiance to a trip to CDG and LBG. i know there's sites to look at but i like peoples point of view too. Where is the best place to spot at Le bourget? where to get most stuff and where should i not go, cos when i last went there was lots of roads inbetween the hangers but they seemed to be putting in barriers, not sure if they did it all the way along. Hope you can help. thanks
