NH90.

Post by kdej »

Hi.

After taking off from 'The Vloot dagen/Marine dagen at ±16.00/16.15 Lt, it seems it's training time.
The NH90 is circling the area over and over again.
To me it seems it's training approach and take off procedures or something.
I don't think they do any landings in between the passes.

I've i'm correct, that second NH90 is here to train flight crew as well as ground crews.
(Thats what I heared.)

The c/n plate is a small plate where information can be found on the manufacturer's serial number also known as the construction number of the aircraft. It is located on the bulkhead on the left side just below the pilots feet and can be seen when looking through the small window on the front end.
For a photo of what can be found on the plate of a NH90 helicopter take a look at http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=53834" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The Italian test registration is known to me. There is no tie-up from this registration to the c/n.
Anybody?

NH90.

Hi all.

Almost daily now the NH90 is circling the Den Helder area.
Guess it's busy with it's training program at EHKD.
Repeated landing (approach) and take off maneuvers it seems.
So if you want to have a look, go to EHKD ?!

Does this mean training has finished, or will another machine take over this kind of duties (or will the first dutch helicopter now be delivered for this)?
