That's 01-2002. (the first two numbers define the fiscal year, not the last four :drinking: )

In some picture's i see a eagle with 00 in the tail code. Does this mean the plane is build is the year 2000 ?
If so i did not know there were eagle's of that young age.

Greetings Patrick.
Thanks guys, I thought that it meant the aircraft was payed for eg. in this case; 2000? Whether it is before or after building I don't know.
I think there are 8-12 00/01's.

Correct. The Fiscal Year denotes the US budget year in which funds have been made available for that particular aircraft. (Note that the US fiscal year starts October 1st of the previous year: as such, we're already in US FY10!)

So just because the budget was made available in that year does not have to mean that the plane was build in the same year ?
In other words does anyone know the last year that eagle's where build or do they still make them ?

greats Patrick.

I'm not sure, they are still building them for the ROKAF. I think the US has received the last of theirs.
