Frequency or Channel ?

Post by Pancake »

On FMC the Netherlands you can found the next (for example):

Frequency :132,0833
Sector :MAASTRICHT EUROCONTROL NL ZEELAND
Channel :132.085
My question : What is the best setting for my scanner ? 132,0833 or 132.085

Greetings ,Johan

If you have a scanner that supports the 8.33 kHz steps, then you should program the exact frequency. If not, program it anyway and your scanner wil automaticly chance it into the nearest frequency. It is best to use the 5 kHz steps then.

Kind regards,
Henk.
