The end of the afternoon and evenings are often not so busy at most airports. So maybe the surrounding airports (LHR and LTN), can handle some extra flights.
Probably airlines did some cancellations in advance.
I doubt if we will see any LGW flights at AMS. But lets wait and see.

I doubt we'll get any more diversions at all. Heavy snowshower passing Schiphol at the moment. We'll be lucky to get most traffic meant for Schiphol in the first place in.

Ja, en op SPL nu ook... het lijkt hier wel een meteo forum. Guess the T7's are here to stay....

To continue the meteo  , visibilities very poor at this moment.
Aircrafts still landing on the 27 (for example: Jade, followed by a KL F70).
Also departs still going on.

I was able to see runway 27, but not anymore...

A KLM B747-400 from Shanghai, a MALEV B737 and CAL B747-400F are holding over Lelystad.

They have been joined by KLM 747-400 from Tokyo, SAS B737 and China Southern B777 from Beijing, a TAP A319 is holding over Hellevoetsluis.

It looks as if both KLM B747s are diverting, Shanghai to RTM and TYO to DUS.
