Good news about the Emirates passenger flights to Amsterdam who starts on may the first.

According to luchtvaartnieuws.nl

A regional director said to luchtvaartnieuws that they want to stay in Amsterdam and that the flight won't be a one days flie they even want to start a double daily flight in the near future.

Correct, maybe next year... Slots are slowly showing more realistic flights as airlines are making up their minds.

EVA Air has some late changes and rather strange slot requests:

A AMS BR071 29MAR 28OCT 1204060 272 74E TPE BKK 1655
D AMS BR072 29MAR 28OCT 1204060 272 74E 1940 BKK TPE
A AMS BR075 28MAR 29OCT 0230507 272 74E TPE BKK 0750
D AMS BR076 28MAR 29OCT 0230507 272 74E 1020 BKK TPE

It would mean 8x weekly flights with additional evening flights. Flights are not bookable and not announced and not very likely in my opinion. Maybe they will switch the morning flights with the evening flights, we will see.

sorry, but I have to correct you. Before the oil got expensive EK already wanted to start with 2 flights a day. The rumour then on this board was that KL blocked EK out. Lately this became 1 flight a day.

BA Cityflyer is to cancel 1 daily LCY-AMS rotation this summer. At the moment still a rumor but this is to accomodate the new LCY-PMI and IBZ rotations. Expect further update regarding which flights and when.
