What if.... klu F-16

Just a thought line, now the successors are not standing in line just at the right time:

What if the RNLAF F-16 Falcon/Vipers are all used up when the replacements are still not available?
What will Dutch Defence need to do?
1) stop all jet operations untill the new aircraft are available?
2) hire some F-16A/B ADF like the Italians?
3) lease some JAS-39 from the Swedish?
4) ....

Anyone with soms thought on this not so unbelievable possibility?

The mlm has ordered a starfighter back from a museum in germany.
so i think that the rnlaf is seriously thinking about operating the f-104 in the future. Because the f-104 was the best aircraft ever in the rnlaf.

Not really the right place for such a topic (well, not an useful topic at all IMHO), better to place this in the Praethuys section...but hey, there is already a topic with 100+ pages about the replacement of the F-16 fleet.
