Museums at Vasteras

Hi Guys,

I'm going to Sweden in a few weeks and I'll have a day to spare in Stockholm. I'm thinking of going to Vasteras to visit the museum there, can anyone tell me what the photography is like in the museum?

And from searching Google it looks like there are two museums at Vasteras, is that correct?

As far as I found there's only one: Västerås Flygande museum.

And...also important: Opening hours are Sundays 12:00 -16:00!

Unless you have already been there, I recommend the museum in Linköping instead. It's big and within driving distance from Stockholm.

There are 2 museum websites for Vasteras, http://www.flygmuseum.se" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and http://www.flygmuseum.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and I can't seem to figure out if they are just different websites for the same museum or are for two different museums.

I would go to Linkoping if it was open but it is closed until June for expansion work.

Is it worth the trip to Vasteras, are the aircraft spaced out or are they close together? What is the photography like? (It will cost me about €40 to get there as I won't have a car so I don't want it to be a wasted trip)

The Flygvapenmuseum at Linkoping is closed.
They are planned to open again this summer.
