On 12-3 the HMS Ocean will be visiting Rotterdam.
Its on its way back from "Cold Responce".
During the "Cold Responce" it carried 2 Sea king Medium Lift Helicopters from 845 and 846 Naval Air Squadrons and 4 Lynx Attack Helicopters from 847 Naval Air Squadron.

So it seems like the two Sea Kings already left the HMS. As they were at Schiphol!

HMS Ocean will berth at: "Holland-Amerika kade 10-25". As yet known the vessel will arrive march 11th, pm and depart march 15th, am.

HMS Ocean has unfortunate no helo's onboard when arriving in the Port of Rotterdam. This according to the PAO of HMS Ocean.

Any word on this ship ?
Will it be open this weekend and are there maybe helicopters beneath the deck ?

Doesn't look like it will be open. There is a big safetywall round the ship and also didnt noticed any sign saying it will be open.

There is a sign though saying the ship is not open for public visits.

Vanochtend op de radio gehoord dat er vandaag een US Navy schuit bij de erasmusbrug komt te liggen. Weet iemand welke boot de gelukkige is en of er een Heli op staat/kan staan?

Date Name GT Nationality
Aug-17 TAYLOR USS 2750 USA and it can handle two MH-60S Sea Hawks. Do not know if they are on board.

As the visit is not mentioned on the website of the Port of Amsterdam, I don't have an idea.
