Brüggen (ETUR) - 2010

Post by Copter »

Former RAF Brüggen will be closed (at least I think they mean RAF Brüggen when talking about Niederkrüchten). As far as I know there are no aircraft based there anymore.

The article is in Dutch only. It says that the British goverment will close the armybase in Niederkrüchten within 4 years.

Bruggen(Javalin Barracks) was closed to helicopters when 12 Flight disbanded last year.

If the present British Labour government(read communist) remains in power, very few British military bases worldwide will be open by the end of the next parliamentary term.

There is already speculation the RAF will not see it's 100th birthday in 2018.
