A while ago, I read the Fokker 100 will replace the Falcon 20s operated by CEV from 2015. The first Fokker (I'm not sure if they will receive multiple aircraft) was expected to arrive in 2011.

Single aircraft, likely to be ex-Regional (I can't recall exactly which MSN it's planned to be).
Aircraft will be seriously modified.

According to the latest information F-GPXL (11290) is sold to the French Defense Agency (DGA) for operation by CEV - Centre d'Essais en Vol (Flight Test Center).

Sabena Technics is involved to convert this airframe into a flying testbed.

Also a second, yet unknown, Fokker 100 will be converted.

Regional, S.A., returned to lessor and stored at Dinard since 060510.

Sold to French Defense Agency (DGA) for operation by CEV - Centre d'Essais en Vol (Flight Test Center).

Sabena Technics has been selected to modify and maintain this Fokker 100 as a flying testbed.

Ferried from Dinard to Bordeaux Friday 01 March 2013 in primer c/s (only rudder painted light-grey). Also a second Fokker 100 will be converted in the near future.

So CEV bought two Fokker 100s for use as flying testbeds ?

If so, testbed for what ?
