Preserved Alouette near Fuldatal Heliport.

Hi there,

I wonder if anyone can help me with a sighting in October 2006 of an ex BGS Alouette II displayed in a scrapyard opposite a wine market (Getranke Markt) just down the road from the Fuldatal BGS base near Kassel.

We read it off as D-HBUO which we now know not to be right. Access to the scrapyard wasn't allowed however photos were possible as it was displayed high just above the fence line.

Any ideas please.....?

Hi Doug,

Only one I can find in our databases, is the D-HBJL as being preserved in Fuldatal, but I think this one is at the heliport itself.

I've been reminded by my colleague who was with me that he has a photo of the c/n plate so I'll get a copy of that and try to analyse it.
