ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Spent the whole day at DUS too, and what a great season-starter it was!

upon arrival one of the 'Baku-boys' was parked in such a way that a decent shot of it was posible.. Two of them have now been parked opposite the runway on the far side of the field, along with some Blue Wings and bizjet aircraft.
Image

Nice starter after arival onthe main besucherterasse was this brand-new Czech, only 2 weeks old OK-PET
Image

Austrian used to send (at least in my memory) many Fokkers and CRJ's, today only bigger types like this Airbus
Image

As always, many turkish aircraft present, including this SKY veteran A320 (c/n 138!)
Image

Being a Pegasus bird for little under a year now, this former Futura B-737-86N TC-AAR makes a gentle touchdown..
Image

Since late march, D-ABGG graces the skies as HB-IOY in the same livery..
Image

Daddy cool also stopped by...
Image

Nice surprice. A new (extra?) Star-alliance aircraft for Croatia, 9A-CTI..
Image

Germania has slightly modified its colourscheme... not a huge improvement if u ask me... D-AGEE
Image

The pilot of this Beech 350 calibrator must be a real 'rainman' as it flew tens of approaches on the northern runway...
Image

I really like the somewhat shabby appearance of some of the JAT Boeings, this airframe YU-ANV was new to me..
Image

Carpatair celebrates its 10 years anniversay with nose-stickers on their aircraft..
Image

After a few sunny hours, some clouds came, but later it cleared up again.
Sometimes the suns picks the right spot to shine... One of many Turkish airlines aircraft today, TC-TJF.
Image

A small highlight for me, the "Glücksbringair" Fernsehlotterie Boeing D-AHFZ
Image

Dash 8's are regulars at DUS now that AirBerlin(LGW) and FlyBe use them instead of Dorniers and Embraers...
Image

Tastes differ, but sometimes I really like the warm yellow late afternoon light, even if there's backlight... Two months old D-ACNK taxiing out for a late departure...
Image

A late bizzer, a G200 Galaxy LX-LAI. Frankly, I think the design looks terrible...
Image

Turkuaz came round six a clock, A-321 TC-TCE has been with them since last may..
Image

Backlight can give some great effects sometimes, A6-EAN doing some rubber-burning...
Image

As said, Austrian sent some bigger stuff, here a former Lauda 737 OE-LNN
Image

Arriving 19.15 lt, again a new one for me this Lotus A-320, a former Sabena and THY aircraft.
Image

We than decided that we'd stay till the end and skip the "bockwurst und pommes" for some night/evening shots
Image

Unfortunately the day ended quite slowly, so not many a/c around to take nightshots of...

Can't wait for the summer season!

For the info; The 9A-CTI is painted in Star Alliance colours because the original one (CTM) has returned to the lease firm.

Adios, Hurricane.
