Neth Navy Lynx Precautionary landing 15-04-2010 update

According to the following link to regional TV-station Omroep Flevoland, Dutch Navy Lynx "279" made a precautionary landing due to hydraulic problems in a field near the Espelerweg near Emmeloord (NL), today. No damage visible in the news item, no-one hurt.

According to the same item, no decision was reached yet as to whether the helo was to be repaired "on site" or to be moved back to EHKD by truck.

update: the helo is repaired but still grounded due to the infamous volcanic ash cloud. Those living near: go get him!
