EHLW 19-04-2010

Post by Buzzard »

Hello everybody,

I'm planning a trip to Leeuwarden tomorrow to see the aircraft of Frisian Flag '10.
But due to the volcanic ash, does anybody has more news on flying activities tomorrow.(19/04/2010)
It's a three hour drive for me, so it would be very disappointing if planes didn't fly tomorrow.

Reactions more than welcome,
Buzzard :shock:

Don't count in it i would say. All commercial acft are still grounded till this evening and the vulcano is still active and with north-western wind now and the coming days I don't expect any flying activities Dutch bases tomorrow (only safety and emergency flights).

Can the participating planes be seen from the outside of the field?

Thanks in advance.

Yes most of them (not all), for instructions please take note of the previous FF topic in this forum.

I'm afraid I have to dissapoint you DJ, a company called van Wieren is specialized in this kind of transport out of Friesland, they have done this lately:
http://www.defensie.nl/luchtmacht/actue ... e_afgerond" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Can't find any number other then the license plate on the lorries :( ...
