Firstly, my apologies if this is not for this Forum, as it is outside of Europe (Where should it go then?)
This year is the 100th Anniversary of the Canadian Navy and celebrations are taking place all over Canada with the main two events being on their two major bases of Halifax (Atlantic) and Esquimalt (Pacific) as follows:
Esquimalt 9-14th June 2010
25 ships so far booked, from the Indo Pacific region, but this number includes Canadian vessels and is taking place at the Royal Roads Anchorage.
So far the following are listed:
Japanese Navy
KDS (Korea?)
HMNZS Te Kaha - SH-2
HMNZS Endeavour - None - Tanker
HMAS Newcastle - 2 x SH-60
Indian Navy
USS Nimitz - 90 Aircraft/Helo's
USS Freedom - 2 x MH-60 + 1 x MQ-8 Drone
Halifax 1st July 2010
18 ships so far booked, (excluding Canadian), most if not all the ships are meant to be open to the public, although I have no idea how, as there isn't the space in Halifax to do this, unless they start boating people out.
